Many people are tempted to omit a business plan. In their excitement they prefer to just jump in and begin without doing the proper research and taking the time to determine if their dream is an actual possibility. Jesus said, “For which one of you, when he wants to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, to see if he has enough to complete it?” (Luke 14:28 NASB) Solomon added, “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.” (Proverbs 16:3 NIV) Engaging in diligent planning is a key step toward successes. We will cover three elements of a plan: 1. Your vision (the picture of what your business will be like), 2. Your financial plan, and 3. What action steps you will take to make the plan a reality.
